Bicycle and Pedestrian Planning
Bicycle and pedestrian planning is an important component in developing a comprehensive multimodal transportation system. Several communities in the TARPO area have developed bicycle and/or pedestrian plans:

Town of Cameron Pedestrian Plan
Orange County Bicycle Plan Map
Town of Pittsboro Pedestrian Plan
City of Sanford Pedestrian Plan
Town of Southern Pines Bicycle Plan
The City of Sanford and Town of Aberdeen are also beginning work on bicycle plans in 2011.
