Bicycle and Pedestrian Planning

Bicycle and pedestrian planning is an important component in developing a comprehensive multimodal transportation system. Several communities in the TARPO area have developed bicycle and/or pedestrian plans. TARPO is in the process of developing a regional bicycle and pedestrian planning framework that incorporates and integrates these community plans. Local plans have been developed/adopted for:

Regional Bicycle & Pedestrian Planning Framework

TARPO is currently developing a "Regional Bicycle & Pedestrian Planning Framework" to serve as a policy guide for decisions on bicycle and pedestrian projects, and to maintain an inventory/plan of all proposed bicycle and pedestrian projects within the region.
