All information contained on this map is preliminary and conceptual. This represents the data used by the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s (NCDOT) Strategic Planning Office of Transportation (SPOT) as part of the Prioritization 2.0 Process in 2011. This map was created by the Triangle Area Rural Planning Organization (TARPO) in December 2011 and updated in February 2012, based on the best information available at the time, but should not be considered definitive. All project locations shown on this map are strictly conceptual corridors and do not necessarily reflect the final locations, cross sections, design elements, or cost estimates of projects, all of which would be determined by further detailed engineering studies. The cost estimates provided on this map are rounded to the nearest $100,000. This information was developed solely to support the NCDOT’s project funding prioritization process. All information herein is believed to be factual, but it is possible that the map contains erroneous information - use of this information for anything other than its original intended purpose is at your own risk. Any questions about the information on this map should be directed to Matt Day, TARPO Senior Planner, at (919) 558-9397 or mday@tjcog.org.
